# Creating your account

Sign up and sign in to Keryo with a passwordless magic link or GitHub.

Keryo is passwordless — there's no password to remember. You sign up and sign in with a **magic link** sent to your email, or with your **GitHub** account.

## Sign up with a magic link

1. Go to the Keryo sign-in page and enter your email address.
2. Keryo emails you a secure sign-in link.
3. Open the link on the same device to finish signing in.

> *\[Screenshot: the sign-in page with the email field]*

{% hint style="info" %}
The link is single-use and time-limited. If it expires, just request a new one.
{% endhint %}

## Sign in with GitHub

Prefer social login? Choose **Continue with GitHub** and authorize Keryo. On your next visit, sign in the same way.

## Logging back in

Signing in later works exactly like signing up: request a fresh magic link, or use GitHub. Your session is remembered so you won't need to do this every visit.

## You need active access to use the app

{% hint style="warning" %}
Keryo has **no free tier**. After signing in, you'll need a **running free trial** or an **active subscription** to reach the workspace. Without active access, only your profile and the pages to start a trial or subscribe are available.
{% endhint %}
