# Scheduling

Plan posts ahead on the calendar and reschedule them any time.

Scheduling lets you line up content in advance instead of publishing on the spot. Pick a future date and time, and Keryo sends the post out for you when it's due.

{% hint style="info" %}
Scheduling is a **Freelance and up** feature, available on Freelance, Studio and Agency plans.
{% endhint %}

## The scheduling calendar

The calendar gives you a bird's-eye view of what's going out and when, across the active client workspace. Use it to spot gaps, avoid clashes and keep a steady cadence.

## Choosing a future time

When you schedule a post, you set a **future date and time**. Keryo works with a precise timestamp (ISO-8601), so the post fires at exactly the moment you choose in the intended timezone.

1. Finish your draft and select the target accounts.
2. Choose **Schedule** instead of publish now.
3. Pick the future date and time.
4. Confirm — the post now appears on the calendar.

## Rescheduling

Changed your mind? You can **reschedule** a post to a new date and time from the calendar — no need to recreate it.

## Publishing and reliability

When a scheduled post comes due, Keryo publishes it automatically:

{% hint style="info" %}
Publishing is **rate-limited**, so a burst of posts scheduled for the same moment goes out in an orderly way rather than all at once.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
If a scheduled publish fails, it can be **retried**. See [Publishing](/keryo-docs/creating-posts/publishing.md#failures-and-retry) for what happens on failure.
{% endhint %}

## Live networks

Scheduling works for the live networks: **LinkedIn** and **X**. Other networks are [coming soon](/keryo-docs/creating-posts/overview.md#which-networks-are-live).
