# Adding media

Add images, videos, PDFs and YouTube videos to your posts.

A post is more than text. Keryo lets you attach images, videos, PDF documents and YouTube videos, so your content stands out in the feed.

## Supported media types

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="Images" %}
Attach one or more images to your post. Perfect for visuals, quotes, screenshots or announcements.
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="Videos" %}
Upload a video to add motion to your post. Great for demos, clips and behind-the-scenes content.
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="PDF / Documents" %}
Attach a **PDF** to publish it as a LinkedIn **document** — the swipeable carousel format that works so well for tips, checklists and mini-guides.
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="YouTube video" %}
Upload a YouTube video of **up to \~15 GB**, plus a **thumbnail**. See the note below on how large uploads are handled.
{% endtab %}
{% endtabs %}

## How YouTube uploads work

YouTube videos can be huge, so Keryo doesn't store them. When you upload one, it goes **straight from your browser to YouTube** through a resumable session — the video **never sits on Keryo's servers**. You can also set a **thumbnail** for it.

{% hint style="info" %}
The resumable session means a large upload can pick back up if the connection wobbles, instead of restarting from scratch.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
**YouTube** is a **coming-soon** network. The media capability above is documented so you know what's supported, but publishing to YouTube isn't live yet. Today, posts publish to **LinkedIn** and **X**.
{% endhint %}

## After adding media

Once your media is attached, finish the post as usual — [write](/keryo-docs/creating-posts/manual-writing.md) or [rewrite](/keryo-docs/creating-posts/per-platform-rewriting.md) the text, then [schedule](/keryo-docs/creating-posts/scheduling.md) or [publish now](/keryo-docs/creating-posts/publishing.md).
