# Importing existing posts

Bring your existing posts into Keryo instead of starting from scratch.

Already have content elsewhere? Keryo can **import existing posts** into a client workspace, so you don't have to rebuild your back catalogue by hand.

{% hint style="info" %}
Importing posts is a **Freelance and up** feature, available on Freelance, Studio and Agency plans.
{% endhint %}

## Why import

Importing is handy when you're onboarding a new client or migrating into Keryo:

* Bring existing content into the right **client workspace**.
* Keep everything organized in one place alongside new drafts.
* Build on past posts instead of copy-pasting them one by one.

## How it works

1. Switch to the client workspace you want to import into.
2. Start the import flow.
3. Your existing posts are brought in as content within that workspace.

Once imported, posts live inside the workspace like any other, so you can edit them, adapt them with [per-platform rewriting](/keryo-docs/creating-posts/per-platform-rewriting.md), or reuse them as the basis for new content.

{% hint style="success" %}
Importing keeps work scoped per client — imported posts only appear in the workspace you imported them into, matching Keryo's [per-client model](/keryo-docs/creating-posts/overview.md#targeting-multiple-accounts).
{% endhint %}
